Fresh Summer Fruit Salad

Sauce:
- ⅔ cup fresh orange juice
- ⅓ cup fresh lemon juice
- ⅓ cup of brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon grated orange peel
- ½ teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Salad:
- 2 cups diced fresh pineapple
- 2 cups peeled and sliced strawberries
- 3 kiwis, peeled and sliced
- 3 sliced bananas
- 2 peeled and cut oranges
- 1 cup seedless grapes
- 2 cups blueberries
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all the fruits together.
- Now, in a separate mixing bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup of orange juice, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of finely grated orange peel, 1/2 teaspoon of finely grated lemon peel, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essence.
- Continue whisking until the brown sugar has dissolved and the sauce has a smooth consistency.
- Gently toss the fruit salad so that the different fruits are evenly distributed and put the smooth consistency of sauce in it.
- If desired, you can chill the fruit salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
